Dr Tan Geok Puan has more than 20 years’ experience as a Plastic, Aesthetic, Reconstructive and Maxillofacial Surgeon. He received his medical degree from the University of Malaya in 1985. He started his initial training in plastic surgery in Malaysia and subsequently completed his training at the Royal Adelaide Hospital from 1992 to 1993. After serving in the public sector for 25 years, he joined Sunway Medical Centre in 2000.
Dr Tan is a Board Certified member of the Malaysian Association of Plastic, Aesthetic & Craniomaxillofacial Surgeons (MAPACS). He is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh (FRCS Edinburgh) and a member of the Oriental Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (OSAPS).
